Just read that Jason Wells has signed with Newtown Jets and will play for the Roosters in the NRL... Bad luck I liked this guy..

He wasn't around last year with us?

A good back up player that never seem to improve however - good luck to him

Also I heard we have signed Kyle Lodge from Newtown - dont know anything about him but I found this from 2008

QUEENSLAND Cup champions Souths Logan Magpies have lost their ace try-scorer Kyle Lodge but have gained two experienced performers from rival clubs.
Following the loss last month of versatile fullback Quentin Laulu-Togagae to England, Souths revealed there would be new signings, and they have come in the form of Wynnum Manly back Denny Lambert and former Canberra and Tweed Heads hooker Matt King.
But they have come at a cost, with the switch of livewire Lodge to the Sydney Roosters a big gain for the southerners.
Lodge scored vital last-gasp tries in the semi final and grand final of this year’s Queensland Cup.

It's a shame but hopefully Lussick is the plan there.

Wells was a talented ball playing lock but never really made the step up. He must be like 25-26 now i cant see him going too far.

The dogs released Wells this year and gained Shane Neuman.  Who next?

Maybe they will sign Phil Morewood next year
