Plays a few games....still on the p1ss and some how the Rabbits, instead of just putting him into rehab for most of the remaining year,pay out his contract, do a deal with the NRL to set him free and get the cash.... The surprise surprise this guy turns up just a few weeks later. What a f#cking joke. Inglis was not injured physically and should not of been let out of his contract. The NRL is well and truely f#cked under this regime.

It's not really about Roberts ability, as the opinions will vary - as they should.

It's more about how CERTAIN clubs getting double standards from the NRL.

I recall the crap fight over having Snake and Matai retire through injury, not because they were sick of the game (Inglis) and yet the NRL were unable to help the side with salary cap....

Inglis gets a job through the NRL and now Souths have all this extra cap space to sign Roberts and whoever else they want.....the worst part is this circus is all becoming so predictable, that the Souths/Roosters of the comp can basically sign ANY player they want, with already 2 of the best rosters in the comp....and the struggling sides seem to have zero cap to play.....this is a Massive issue for the game, as supporters are not as dumb as these blokes running the game think and many are losing touch with the game, in fact plenty of NRL supporters are already over a heap of issues with those clowns running the game - this is just more icing on the cake and shows the integrity of those in charge, is not from the old school grass roots footy, based on loyalty and transparency the fans appreciate.

I hope he gets back to his best so we have heaps of centres to choose from for the blues and Aus. In the bigger picture it would be best for league if he gets on track again. We have to wait and see!

Unfortunately I think in a bad way, seems a lost soul. Has plenty of ability (obviously) but can't seem to handle the off field. Hope to be proven wrong, the lad can play.
