Jamal Fogarty

Can someone smarter than me (it wouldnt be hard) explain how Manly or any club can even speak to him prior to November without the Raiders blessing?

He's off contract at the end of 2025, so was able to negotiate from November 1 2024.

Hey bob - hope ya well mate.
I will add something to this conversation, there are always a few players who are unhappy at their club, or with deals regards to broken promises, money comparable to team mates that complain to player managers and THIS is constantly opening doors for potential "negotiations" with NRL rivals.....is it outside the November timeline, history will show this is just part of the game.

Hey my brother Maxta, I think you can talk to them but you cant table an offer thats what they were saying about Gus Gould with Galvin, he can court him but not make an offer

Because there was a clause in his contract where the Raiders had first right to extend but that had to done by round 7 and it wasn’t.

It was the 30th of November ( 2024) when we could speak with him for the 2026 season but the Raiders had first right of refusal to round 7.

“I really hope the offer of $700,000 over three years is real,’’ Stuart told CODE Sport.
“As I’ve said all along, Jamal has to look after his family.”

“Everybody knows we wanted to keep Jamal, but it’s an offer we can’t match.’’

Stuart then revealing Fogarty’s agent cancelled a scheduled meeting on the Gold Coast last weekend due to a cold.
“It must have cleared up pretty quickly because we saw him bouncing around at the football the following day,” Stuart said.

Everybody knows we wanted to keep Jamal, but it’s an offer we can’t match.’’, Yeah sure Ricky, you guys played hard ball at the start but when you saw there was interest from another club, you decided to move, Dont you think Jamal didn't notice that

Facts don't Lie. Apparently according to some our ****stain club captain's pea heart just isn't in the game any more and those same fans cant wait till the great white hope Fogarty comes to save our bacon..... well the numbers are laid out for the world to see..... cant wait till we downgrade. great job Seibold and co.

What exactly constitutes a “tackle bust”? I always thought it was when a forward or hard running outside back hits the line and breaks through the other side from pure strength. How does DCE have 20 tackle busts?

What a Difference a coach makes Perspective
Under the coaching staff at the Titans Fogarty was Ordinary
Under Ricky we saw Fogarty's Revival
Under Sombre Seibold we will see a different Fogarty

They missed the part where DCE's team is coming 11th with more losses than wins and Fogarty's team is 3rd having won 5/7 with a far tougher draw than we've had. DCE can rack up all the individual stats he wants but what use is that when it's reducing the impact of Haumole and our other strike players and we aren't winning games? It's all me me me with DCE

For the record I'd say the most important stat for a halfback there is the one that Fogarty is leading quite comfortably.

‘Tackle bust’ does not necessarily mean he’s moving forward. Before he completes each headless chook circle he usually pushes out of a tackle or two. That is where his 20 ineffectual tackle busts come from.

I guess that also explains why 20 tackle busts but only 4 line breaks. Hard to break a line running in a circle.

Nope just relaying facts mate!
Jamal has more goals so far by one. Canberra has scored two more tries than us. Would be interesting to know what both their percentages sit at as of now. I can't seem to find it

Come on people. Numbers are numbers. I can see this is a lost battle for most on here.

Fogarty is a solid player and as a team the raiders are doing well for once. does that mean JF is the reason the raiders are playing well?

DCE has better numbers, more experience, more wins, less injuries and a much longer career yet manly's position on the ladder is all on him.... if by seasons end we get our winning mojo back and are above the raiders is that also on DCE or will that be all about the team?

perhaps then we can agree JF will be a downgrade on what we already have. Just like Seibold was a downgrade on what we had before.

NRL stats are a minefield however that image is pretty bad

As per NRL. com

Look we all know the premium player DCE is so, as others have pointed out it is difficult to compare the two however as you can see on the numbers above they are just different sort of players
