If I was Fogerty, I would ask why they didn’t activate the clause if they want him so badly?
Decision will come down to family, if I had the option to secure my future without having to relocate my children’s school and wife’s work I’ll definitely take it up, especially when you consider we decided to (allegedly) low ball him. I think he will be good for us but end of the day family first. It’s why I think we will be better investing in players who call the northern beaches home.If I was Fogerty, I would ask why they didn’t activate the clause if they want him so badly?
I thought it was Canberra that low balled not us, but I could be wrong, I have known to be wrong occasionally lolDecision will come down to family, if I had the option to secure my future without having to relocate my children’s school and wife’s work I’ll definitely take it up, especially when you consider we decided to (allegedly) low ball him. From my understanding Canberra didn’t activate his $650k one year option by end of round 6, media then starting reporting we were set to offer him a 2 x year $1 million deal ($500k per season). If Canberra come back and say they will offer him 2 x years at $500/$550k. All alleged through, however I do believe the information because it seems that the only time information isn’t leaking out of our camp regarding player movement is when Issac Moses is involved. Apart from that we seem to be running a leaky ship. I could also definitely be wrong though, just going off what I had read at the time. To my understanding we haven’t tabled any official offers yet.I thought it was Canberra that low balled not us, but I could be wrong, I have known to be wrong occasionally lol
Yes you could be spot on because he has said his kids are in school down there and he doesnt really want to disrupt themFrom my understanding Canberra didn’t activate his $650k one year option by end of round 6, media then starting reporting we were set to offer him a 2 x year $1 million deal ($500k per season). Let’s hope we’re sitting back in a couple of years time watching Joey Walsh win a dally M and Clive Churchill thinking about how far we have come as a club from today my feathered friend.Yes you could be spot on because he has said his kids are in school down there and he doesnt really want to disrupt them
Forgot to mention, under new ownership and just after a massive clean-out of all roles/positions.Let’s hope we’re sitting back in a couple of years time watching Joey Walsh win a dally M and Clive Churchill thinking about how far we have come as a club from today my feathered friend.

We thank DCE for thatI'm more stressed about if they fail and where to from there!

Well it is that time of the yearIf Manly did, Hastings would have had more career resurrections than you know who.
Best option for us is to keep a mouth shut (club)
I wonder if that’s a ploy to get an extra 50k a year out of Manly? The ol’ if it’s like for like, we’ll stay put. A lifestyle on the Northern Beaches is much more appealing than Canberra. However, it’s also much more expensive.Yes you could be spot on because he has said his kids are in school down there and he doesnt really want to disrupt them
I’m waiting until tomorrow to see if there is any movement from the big guy 😉If Manly did, Hastings would have had more career resurrections than you know who.
