Jake's now played but a handful of games at the top level, but looks damn comfortable and has no issues with matching it with the big boys. He's an absolute rookie, but plays like a veteran. In just a few games he's become both a leader and a lynchpin in a forward pack that's slowly beginning to believe in themselves.
If we continue to build on this rise in competitiveness Jake will be an intrinsic part of that success, which is mind blowing when you REALLY consider it: he's as green as they come yet he's the leader of a pack containing a few 200+ game veterans.
The future is pretty bright with talent like this coming through. Perhaps too early to say it, but that 9 week rebuilding period was pretty tough. Time to get on with becoming a powerhouse in 2015..
