Lawton played Ben T’s edge not 13 but yes, was outstanding! Just goes to show he is a back rower, not a 9.

Simpkin's inclusion strengthened 2 positions. Lawton is a much better 14 than 9, and Simpkin is surely the best 9 at the club now. Croker might just find himself playing reggie's if/when he recovers from his injury.

Nice debut for Manly today. His passing from dummy half was crisp.
Not sure what his running game is like - but he did his job well.

He is quite small thou,so not sure if that may limit him in the future. I wish he was in Lawtons body, he would be a clear winner then.
