I can't believe someone, in particular Arthur or Brooks, didn't try at least one grubber kick through the line. They have no football instinct.
Obviously the plan was to kick deep and hope for a dropped ball. Well, you'd think after this tactic didn't work the first 10 times you'd change it up.
Brooks continues to disappoint me. Normally he's a good tackler but not tonight. His attack is inneffective. Time to drop him and promote TT2, either to 5/8 or on the wing and give Hoppa a chance at 5/8.
Overall, there is something missing from the mindset of most of our team. To play so tough one week, and so listlessly the next, is infuriating. Seems like they only play well when they are expected to lose.

I never got the desire to bring Arthur in as a back up to DCE. He is below FG standard obviously, but struggles to even make a decent back up. I honestly think, the club would have been better supported by bringing in one of the young halves tonight for simple big game experience.

And PS, I don’t attribute that result tonight to him. I thought for example, Saab was an absolute passenger tonight after his last match. Turbo’s second half was putrid.

Walsh in for the next Origin game without D$E. Arthur has had his chance multiple times and failed on every occasion, anyone who watched him in the trials would’ve known this was coming. Seems like a nice kid but it’s a massive jump to first grade for him and I’d be worried if I were getting on board the new Perth team and Brad was named coach. Would end up just like the Dragons are now.

Walsh in for the next Origin game without D$E. Arthur has had his chance multiple times and failed on every occasion, anyone who watched him in the trials would’ve known this was coming. Seems like a nice kid but it’s a massive jump to first grade for him and I’d be worried if I were getting on board the new Perth team and Brad was named coach. Would end up just like the Dragons are now.

Look, I actually like JA too, but this ain’t no popularity contest (unless you are $CE playing the crowd for more likes). Not good enough for FG, so why not give the young uns a run for experience…

Agreed mate, if Walsh is in the top 30 squad and in the box with the coaches like he was last week in Townsville I don’t know why he isn’t being given a crack. Things couldn’t have been better for Arthur to perform tonight and he couldn’t get it done… how would he look against a half decent team that weren’t missing their key players?? Just a career reserve grader performing as such.

Agreed. I doubt Arfur has anymore gears… and I say that with respect to his efforts and commitments to play the game. I sometimes wish Lard Ass, Shyster had that much dedication and commitment.
