His Dad was one of the greatest coaches of all time. I was pleased to hear Mal Meninga, inductee into the Immortals, mention him in his speech just recently.

Gibson and Bennett get all the praise but Don Furner was the man they both looked up to and learned their craft from.

A gentleman and a genius.

Reading between the lines, it is now pretty clear what is going to happen;
- Natalie Imgroglio is going to buy out the Penns with her husband Andrew/Matty/Daniel Johns
- Toovey will be the new CEO
- David Furner will be the new head coach
- Willie will replace Hoss as assistant coach
- Trent and Hoss will be co-coaches of Blacktown until their contracts run out

I thought Peters did a fantastic job as our defensive coach last year. Our defence was huge in the first half of last year. Man I hope that comes true - please tell me it's not just a Silvertails special.
