I've heard a rumour about some exciting development proposals for brookie. Stay tuned.

Look, with regards to the coaching, I don't know who will be our coach in 2019, I just know (believe) it won't be Barrett. Looking at the facts as I see them.....
Unless there has been some serious bridge building going on, Tooves won't be coaching Manly anytime soon, not while the Penn's are paying the bills.
VERDICT - we can only hope.
Madge would probably be everyone's first choice if it wasn't Tooves. He's a proven winner, a premiership winner. He's the type of hard nut coach this team needs. He wants a challenge and Manly would certainly give him that, but whether we can match any offer from say a Brisbane is another matter.
VERDICT - 50/50.
Cleary. He's got Manly DNA so I hear. Well, sure, he's a Manly junior and played 15 games for us in 1992 and 1993. But that was the last time he was at Manly. Since then he's ended up at the Tigpies via Norths, Easts, the Warriors and Panthers. Its been 25 years since he was maroon and white. Yes he's a highly regarded coach and I think he could be good for us, but his record isn't really the best. Although he took them to the 2011 GF, he only had a 50% W-L record at the Warriors, a 47% W-L record at Penrith and only 42% at the Tigpies.
VERDICT - iffy at best.
Des. I wouldn't say no to him coming back, but only under the condition that he played no part in player contracts. Sure he can do the usual coaches thing and identify talent he wants, but we can't go down the same back-ended path we did last time he was here and what he did at the Dogs. The only question is, has coaching passed him by? And is he even interested?
VERDICT - doubtful.
That pretty much leaves Cartwright. The players want him, apparently the Penn's like him. Reading between the lines it would seem that he is the bookies favourite. Whether having him as coach would mean more of the same as when he was Barrett's assistant would remain to be seen. But I do think that our squad is more talented than what he had to work with at the Titans, and while he did get a wooden spoon with them, he also took them to the Semi's and even the Prelim Finals so he could do something, especially if his ideas differ from Barrett's.
VERDICT - short priced favourite.
