Firstly not saying anything untoward and I certainly believe that the NRL and their auditor are beyond reproach OK. (Disclaimer out of the way.)
But remember the last team that beat Manly in a grand-final - Melbourne, two years later they were stripped of points and 'won' the wooden spoon.
I wonder if the same could happen to Easts?
Is it worth a lazy type of 'hedge-bet' for the next two or three years?
Obviously people should make their own betting decisions and not rely on the statements above etc (another disclaimer.)
