I’m excited, I’ll be there with bells on but not optimistic. If we win it will be 8-6 or the like.Im sure the effort and commitment will be there but I just can’t see where the points will come from other than off Fainu in the middle and he simply does not play enough minutes!!! Can we change this please!!!!.All this talk about a fast start - simply doesn’t happen with API starting .Only other points come from a short red zone pass off DCE maybe ? If we are down by 12 or more by the time Fainu gets on we are cooked.

Pack is totally outclassed but energy and effort can fix that. Point scoring is a different beast ... it requires class as well as effort and that’s where DCE needs to make one MASSIVE statement by playing the game of his life.He is the Australian halfback. Time to get back to his best and play like one. He is elite ... he can and must do it .

PS Suli is marking Xerri i believe. Graham and him will go at Moses all night. Their WHOLE game plan will revolve around this pace mismatch and our leaking right side defence. Moses needs the game of his young life.I’m expecting him to answer some critics on Saturday night.

Lets hope your right... i agree about dce he needs to have a big game he really needs to lead and he needs to take control and let walker chime in. He needs to build pressue with repeat sets and we as a team need to cut the errors as we clearly cant defend back to back sets with all these injuries.
Simple game plan, hold the ball, complete sets and build pressure. Im expecting walker to have a massive game and dce better do the same he needs to show and go hes to predictable and he needs to kick early to keep them in 2 minds

I'm so looking forward to being at this match with some family and 1000s of Sea Eagle fans - no expectation, nothing to lose, almost the ideal scenario. The ones I hate are where we are expected to win a big game due to our preponderance of stars and get pipped at the post. I know whatever team we send out will give 100% (as soon as I heard Des was our new coach I bought a season ticket!) and a win or smashing the Sharks is all icing on top.
Best part is, we can actually do it!

After some tough injuries and things looking to be sliding South after a great season, I personally love the selections by Des for this Saturday.
These young forwards who are on show Saturday and the fact young Funa is also in line looking for promotion, that may well happen in 2020.
We then have Ben T coming through, young Hoppa will be back from injury and hopefully this young Schuster is sticking around to create what looks like a very possible dynasty!!
After feeling down after that Eels game and things looking bleak, these selections shows we are looking to tomorrow, but Des has the confidence today....this makes me confident, do other Silvertails have a good feel about this too ??

Apart from Tom, losing Thompson was huge... Our defence on the left has looked absolutely brittle since he got hurt, take out sirro and tapau too and they are going to have an absolute field day punching holes thru our pack at will.. Jurbo can't tackle all of them

cometh the hour....... cometh the T-Rex! the big man is young enough to put together a lucrative late career even now, but he knows it must start this minute. I think he will turn it on against the sLosers and we are going to stamp it home. Back in 08 or 09 the Eagles had a great win at sLoser Park and TW got one of the best tries for sheer strength and determination that I have seen. He'll bring it again. Go Manly!!
