This may be my Manly bias showing through but I perceive us to have a lot of injury-prone players. I welcome a statistician to confirm or refute my perception.
Follows is my injury/availability assessment of some of our current players:
Turbo = 40% available
Tent = 55%
Alaoi = 55%
The Lawman = 45%
Burbo = 55%
I'd image an average availability 'pass mark' for an NRL player would be 75% (available for three out of every four matches). Over the years we've had warhorses such as Lyons, Lyon, Beaver, Tooves and Ballin, and currently DCE (must be 98%), Jurbo and Froggy (must both be 90%) available.
Thoughts?

Is that the cumulative number of weeks players have been injured for (5+ weeks)?
It is yet another reason why Penrith has been so dominant, although the major reason is that they have such a high number of quality players and back-ups.
That’s the total number of 5+ weeks injuries to a player, so of our 42, Tom would have at least 3-4 of those I think

That does illustrate the unbelievable run of Penrith, and also how badly the Tigers and Dragons have performed
