You know, although i'm most certainly not all for it, Des Hasler may not (i repeat, may not) be the worst option. Time of desperation, or maybe just a time of panic. As the season progresses it'll become clearer what we need, and if we're going to truly be that desperate.

I don't think he should manage the cap though if he was called upon!

Des regretted leaving Manly, you could tell he never looked confident when with the Dogs, he lacked that level of care he had for us. Absolute dick move what he did to us, never can forgive him for that, although he's definately an option for us again

Penn would NEVER allow him to coach here under his watch.
If he thinks he's putting his hand in his pocket in our current predicament it would be nothing to what he'd have to shell out with dessie.
Des needs a club that can afford his recruitment methods and a quick fix.

It's sad to think that Toovs won't be given a chance to coach us again (there's hope!) because something non-nrl related. If the Penn's want what's best for the club than they have to look past their differences and bring back Manly

Barrett has his toughest assignment yet, getting this team to pull together!! The salary cap mess has handicapped any chance of new recruitment and his task is further aggravated by some untimely injuries.

The team last year for the first two thirds of the season at least played a brand of footy that is a lot like what the Tigers are doing now, playing hard and fast and sticking to the plan!

I believe that Trent needs to be given the chance to fix the mess we are currently in and that will only be achieved by a team that is TOGETHER!!

I expect to get a million dislikes for this, but we have no choice but support Barrett. We just lost our only support half in Hastings, no support Front row/backrow in Lussick, Siro, Kelepi, Taufua, it's the changing of the gaurd... Get with our team, and Barrett... Come on **** you guys, we are Manly, we don't give up ever! Get behind him, who the **** is going to be better that is available. TT carrying a niggle, Dylan tentitive, I'm not giving up. Go Manly!!!

All passionate supporters get behind their team no matter who coaches and who plays .
We will vent but we will never veer away .
Under performing players and coaches eventually will go but passionate supporters are here to stay .

There is always hope . Situations can turn .
I hope there are a few surprises pre June 30th that will make a difference .
Trent is still learning the ropes . I hope he wakes up one day soon and puts his learning into practice with some proactive decisions .

Im glad u said that, i would welcome HASLER back on a 2 yr Deal, with a clause that management handle the salary cap

Hasler would fail miserably then, His only trick is to back end, worked once with us, failed at the dogs.

Long term effect is 5 years which is what started our current issues
