Monaghan wants to play in his "favourite" position right?
Souths manager said of coarse they would be interested in Monaghan right?
Manly have 2 half backs for next year right?

It's very, very simple.

We trade Michael Monaghan with Beau Champion (who is a 5/8) with Souths.

Beau would get more game time. He's happy.
Beau won't get too much game time with a VERY young Sutton in front of him.
Beau has a GREAT kicking game, and breaks the line at will almost.
Monaghan could play 1/2 back all year in a team fitting his skill.
We could then have Watmough / Orford or Kennedy as captain.

EVERYONE IS HAPPY AS I SEE IT.

This kid will turn into an absolute FREAK, I can tell. Same as I thought about Thurston when everyone was bagging him at The Bulldogs.

SURELY this could be arranged. I am dead set almost willing to write to Pat Wilson to see if he would think about making the offer!!!

Ryan , how many games have you seen this Beau Champion play ? 1 ?? , possibly 2 ??

I recall you having huge wraps earlier in the year on Ashley Alberts , when you hadn't seen him play. He certainly hasn't lived up to your expectations. He's the guy that missed 15 tackles in 1 game. He's only playing 1st grade for Manly because there's no-one better.

That's intersting. I didn't know that Dessie had a game plan each week.

I think that he needs to change it from "we played well last week - no need to change anything" to "we were hopeless. Need to get team to tackle and improve attack by doing second man plays. Perhaps even a run arund or two."

Jee Wizz - where do I take this one.

Canteen Worker - your obvious Rose coloured glasses is dimming the fact that Canberra are turning up every week and are looking very competative. Their team looks like it is a stable solid group. Their media attention is positive. They are getting wraps. We have had a few games where our injurries were up there with Canberra. We were thrashed by Souths at the time, and I won't get into other results like Cronulla. Canberra haven't suffered record loss after record loss.

Chuckwood - I watch every game every week, and have seen Champion play in his 7 1st grade appearances (which Souths have won 5). On those occassions he shows aspects to his game that leads me to believe he will be a real (names sake) champion. On a side note - I STILL think Alberts will be a superstar.

Chip & Chase - When I made those comments about Monaghan, Manly were consistently travelling really well, and Monaghan told me himself up at the club that he has HEAPS of improvement in him. He played SOO in the juniors so I came to that conclusion. He has DRAMATICALLY dropped off in form in the second part of this year, hence why I have changed my mind on that situation.

c_eagle - I don't think your worth debating an argument with. Your childish little "university" ideals are boring & as I've said before non streetwise. Were you in the City yesterday protesting those that pay your way? Time to get out of nappies & leave the nest.

Garts - at the time, we had Donald & Hoppa when Luchetti was being named. You can see today what the club thinks of Donald. ANYONE would have been better.
