We would still have to outlay the dollars first anyway which would be a risk , then wait for insurance if a career ending injury finished him .The Club could get insurance to cover this.

What's the premium like on insuring a knee that's already blown out twice? And that just covers his salary which would still be in our cap as you only get dispensation if it's not a pre-existing injury or you're Parramatta.
This can't be allowed. I thought we got denied something like this a few years ago. Nrl stating that the player was undervalued or some crap like that.
