With the MVP stuff, I mark players available as per the Tuesday team list. I can tell you every week I have to go and change it as the 17 named on Tuesday is never the 17 that actually runs out. I'm fully expecting Hodges to replace Hasson in the 17. The Late Mail on the SuperCoach fan site I look at suggests the same and it's usually on the money. As mentioned elsewhere, they're tipping Stewart to play, in for Wolfman or Foran. Interesting part was if Foran's out they're suggesting Hiku will play 5/8.

Personally dont mind if Hiku gets a gig at 5/8 as a running half, has a good step & strength but lacks the genuine speed of a centre, though burnt that Dogs bloke out wide last week, more with his swerve from only 10m out.
The type of bloke who can break the line & if he plays 5/8 & Hodges rightly hold his spot, could well be Manlys most dangerous attacking weapons against Melbourne..question then is who plays.

Has Hasson played a match since his suspension? Did he play in the reserves?
I can understand how he can come straight into the 17 without showing form in a lower grade.

I hope Hodges plays, we need his variety around the ruck. He is also a back up for the halves, we need cover for that too.

I like him at 5/8 moving forward. Actually, I like him more at a new position, 5/9! A cross between a 5/8 and hooker haha!

Chased hard on kicks. Didn't have much involvement in attack but I'm glad that Cherry was running the show anyhow.
