The fact that hes in demand is a great time for him to find a new club... especially if the club has told him Ballin is going to be the number 9 eventually... and he wont have a place in the starting side.. strike while the iron is hot.

For what its worth I would not release him mid season as we wont get much benefit if we do. Let him find a deal for 08 now then make him play out this season as he his a handy player.

I don't think he'll be released, but I don't think he should be a first choice player either. Ballin should now be our first choice hooker.

I doubt other clubs could fit $240,000 in a salary cap half way through a season. Hence him looking for an 08' gig.
