Could be a long term option with our cap penalty, Hastings to 9 or 6 depending how Croker develops. Personally would rather see Hastings get a crack sooner rather than later

Dont mind this to be honest, Api has shown in the past he is a deadly half when he plays there, he got I think 3 motm awards in 4 games in 2016 play in the halves. If he plays well it could be a long term option. I dont think Api will be moved out of the side anytime soon either as he is pretty much re signed, which makes me very Api. Hastings looked slick in the 9 last week, also gives us a goal kicker at above 80%. Daly been doing a good job but he has had some easy ones.

Interesting reading that 2 weeks before the ruling the NRL had already halted future years signing almost as though they had pre-determined the ruling and penalty
