Scratching my head re the dogs. Every journo/commentator was weeping into their cornflakes earlier this year about what a mess des left the dogs cap in and they couldn’t recruit anyone until about 2021. Now not a mention whilst they recruit, recruit, recruit. Not just any recruits, all top shelf. Total joke

They were saying on the big sports breakfast the other day, that it wasnt really des,s fault. Castle signed off on all the contracts , even Dessie,s and it wasnt his fault but he copped all the blame though

I have never, ever encountered such a morally devoid, intellectually challenged collection of primary school gossiping waste of spaces as I have with nrl 'journalists'.

Every off season, instead of releasing anything of decent value, positive stories, anything pro the game, all they ever do is sit around and make up rumour after negative rumour.

If I woke up tomorrow and all of them were gone, I seriously doubt I'd miss any of them.

It would be helpful if our own club, replacement CEO in the box seat or not, got its pathetic, unprofessional, backwards-facing arse into gear and announced exactly who has been re-signed. Apparently still no official word on Walker or Thompson. What gives?

An official update (if any) on the Jurbo/Turbo front would be helpful.

This is a perennial complaint about this organisation, that never seems to be resolved.

Meanwhile, they’re happy to take our money in auto-renewals.

I know what you're getting at for sure but in a way it'd be nice if they did!

Currently they just sit around re-hashing old anti-manly rumours because it gets click bait and wait until the latest player drama unfolds. There seems to have been more coverage on the Joel injury and finch relapse than the 4 or so test matches this weekend!

Where's the in depth reporting on the Aussie juniors, the french team, the women - back ground stories on any of them? France are coming all the way out here to play a game of footy, you think the media could let us know about them?

Manly is yet to table a contract extension to the Trbojevic brothers, seven days out from the November 1 feeding frenzy kicking off.
Jake and Tom’s agent Paul Sutton told Fairfax Media the Sea Eagles have not come forward with an offer of commitment beyond the 2020 season.
In fact he’s yet to hear from the club regarding the future of his gun pair.
It means in seven days’ time, rival NRL clubs can legally negotiate with the star siblings.

I would think we have not tabled an offer because their manager has said he will not listen to offers before November 1st. The brothers have been consistent all year saying there is no hurry to negotiate. Totally straight from their manager.

Do I think they will sign. Of course they will.

It is all about the other clubs thinking they might be able to sign them and how much stupid money they are prepared to spend. Would have to be total stupid money though, and a lot more than what the dogs are supposedly offering.
