Why have we released Green when we do not have a replacement?

Green's kicking game and all round ability to run the team around the park was excellent last year.

Manly seem to be one of the few teams that are weaker for 2018.

I hope this is not the sign of things to come with Bozo no longer pulling the shots

Green went quite well in his expected role for the Sea Eagles last season but would have almost certainly been released after next season . Just means that Manly are going to have to try to find and establish a capable replacement 12 months earlier . Still a good competitive group and squad available with a lot of improvement more then possible and still some reasonable cap money available for a couple of handy additions.
