Game day V Sharks

Both teams very much just going through the motions, We look a lot better than them but to be fair the Sharks don't have any first graders out there so not too impressed by that. We aren't really trying to go too hard so not much to judge off. One thing I will say is that it looks like we are trying to put sting into our defence some really strong hits with good technique which is pleasing to see. Other than that it is pretty bog standard. Hodgkinson has given a drop off ball to Thomo about 62 times. Will be good to maybe see elgey now in this 2nd half and rest our big names.

Boys are playing well. Fundamentals are all good, 2 sharks tries off pushing the ball too hard.
My early notes: hope dogko goes back to reserves. Look like he's lost another gear unfortunately. Hope elgey starts the year at 6.
Also hope that commentator vanishes

3 things that stood out for me first half that we lacked last year...speed, power and Garrick.

Interesting first half, mixed bag really with the ball, some good moments and two intercept tries when we were on the boil. I know it is a trial but this team must learn to convert pressure into points. Shame that Tom has a problem already we do not need any injuries like a hamstring. Now lets see what the fringe players do. I suspect Hasler will rest most of the team for the 2nd half.
