Galvin

Probably more of a case to go after Hass if future million Dollar contracts are or could be under consideration .
All expectations that Turbo's and jake 's next contracts will be reduced by reasonable margins and guys like Brown , T K O and probably Sipps and Tavega moved on soon .
Prop grouping of Hass , Paseka Bully , Jake , Maybe a young gun or outside possibility Alioia or Patolo into the mix also but in that scenario doubt if Alioia still on the books .
Brooks at 6 , Large not too far hopefully off , same with a Fogarty - Walsh transition .
Turbo , might be wishful thinking ] Lehi , Garrick [ goal kicking bonus ] Saab , Koula maybe T T 2 still staying around
Still think Simpkin can do the job at 9, Moley one edge , maybe also Burbo , have to conjure up a 13 somehow .
That would seem a better way to go
It is almost impossible to get elite players from clubs like Brisbane, Melbourne and the Roosters. Haas will never be coming to Manly. He is already on 1 million at the Donkeys and then some.

Unless we have Big Bargaining Power like a Bennet or a Bellamy or a Club that is run by Powerhouse Directors .
When we Invest in Powerful People in our Club . We will have the Power .

Is it just me or does this just seem petty. If he's supposed to be there until 2027 and he clearly isn't being dropped on form, it just looks like they're really spitting the dummy.
It feels like they want him to ask for a release now so they can make it look even worse for him.
I feel for the kid but also glad it's taken us off the front pages.

Under the Arko era if we wanted him we would get him but those days are long gone.
Players don't come here now unless they are just your average NRL player or after a big payday before they retire.

We can't compete with the Storm, Broncos or Roosters.

I don't see him wanting to come here, why go to a club that can't win a premiership to a club in the same boat.

Politis may not deal with his manager but I'm sure he would put that aside when a player who is young and expected to be a star comes available.

Agree S68, That's crazy, Galvin with Lulu, Api and Doueihi are killing it, why would the tigers want to destroy what they've got going after so many years at the bottom.

It would be more favorable to the Tigers to keep him in their top team
He is more valuable to them there
He is their star Player that is making a difference on the field .
Show Respect to All players will and this will also Galvanise the playing group
All players should be respected for their future choices
As all clubs should be Accountable for making their clubs a Premier place to play
The Club has failed to do this for not only Galvin but other players like Moses and Tedesco
Dropping Galvin would be a case of sour grapes and and lead to a disruptive bitter season

Instead of dropping him
Why dont they release him and earn interest on their money from his remaining contract
Playing him in NSW do not earn any sense

Because the salary cap payments are not the club's money ... if it is not spent it stays with the NRL.

With respect why would Galvin join us? We don't have more money, we certainly don't have the off field power brokers anymore we have been treading water for a decade and our skipper can't leave soon enough. The only thread people are hanging on to is his manager is Siebolds wow not strong. I'd suggest there is more chance of Jake scoring a hat trick on Thursday night

Thank You Feathered friend
I was not aware of that
In that case the Tigers should make the most of that cap space and Keep their star playmaker in their top team where he belongs .

No. Seibs needs to do the same. Focus on building towards the future.
I think if DCE's form goes south (I'll give him the benefit of the doubt in Perth) I can see where it might be warranted but doing it just coz he's leaving can be counterproductive. I don't think there's anyone ready to step up this year and I'd still like to see us be competitive.

At first glance it does seem petty but on further reflection, I think Wests are doing the right thing - they've put money & time into developing Galvin & he's told them he doesn't want to be there.

Why should they give him more time in first grade to develop further as a player just so whoever he ends up with gets a more experienced & polished player?

This is where you need a Coach that has the ability to diplomatically motivate his playing group to play for each other on the field
As we know .Not all players go to the same dinner parties in their own free time
But on field time they are professional people and clock on just like any one else at every work force that keep work at a professional level and get on with the Job

Benjie should look his players in the eye and say something like
WE might not All get on off the field .That is a Given.
But we have proven to turn it on field and Give it all for each other as a team Just like we did in our Great Win against the the Knights on their home Ground
Building a Stronger Character is all about overcoming adversity and Winning
This is our opportunity to build from strength to strength and become Stronger Winning People

FMD there were 12 teams worse than us last year...this year also looked similar before injuries.

Cheer up buddy.

Imagine if you had to support the Eels or Titans
