I'd like to see Ballin, Killer, Matai and Snake all Co - Captains for their last game. That would be fitting. Most like end of 2016 season.

Stewart captain for a year or two once killer retires, then buhrer to take over. Hes the obvious choice, only one other i would consider would be tom trbojevic if he ends up becoming a stewart type player in the sea eagles squad for years to come and gains leadership qualities

Jamie Buhrer deserves a crack at it long term and he was the captain in the 09 20's team and perfect to lead a young side that comes through. If Killer gets hurt, I would go for Matty B or Snake as captain.

Buhrer is the obvious and best option right now. Only question is does Killer stand down before he retires and has a season or 2 as just a player or does he hold the skipper mantle until he retires.

Killer is officially the team captain, Snake, DCE and Foz are listed as vice-captains. But it doesn't take a genius to figure out that Snake is the one who is going to be more active in that role, especially since its been confirmed the others are leaving at the end of the year.

Long term....I would probably have to go with Ferris. When guys like Killer, Snake, MattyB and Skivy finally retire he'll probably be the senior player (and the longest serving Manly player).
