Fox vs NRL TV

I just caught a few minutes of the Storm/Warriors trial on 'NRL TV'. The quality looked fine at first glance.
Is there any advantage in paying for Foxtel? I only got it because I want to be able to see Manly games, either live or on replay.
I've had Fox for several years but really the footy is the only reason I'd keep it now.

That's all I got Foxtel for. If NRL TV stream all the games in the season proper I'll get rid of Foxtel.......I'm not hopeful of the refereeing improving this season going by Melbournes try that was awarded despite being about 10 metres forward and the ref being directly in line with the final pass.

I don't need fox. I don't watch much TV. Considering kayo if NRL TV is going to have all games live or on demand replay and allow us to do it, then I'll pay for that as it's the only reason I'd want paytv

You can get the Kayo sports app (I have it on Apple TV) - $25 per month and you get all of Foxtel’s Sports channels, sports docos etc. You can watch live or anytime after (no need to record games).

The pub can have my $25, ok a little more. No way I’m paying Foxsports or their little mates at Kayo.

Oh my GOD! I just watched the replay and that pass was ridiculously forward. So much so the commentator called it in real time as if it was obviously going to be called back.

Well Foxtel has a better commentary team and also 360 where you can get your weekly dose of vomiting after seeing Buzz’s blotchy red melon. I ditched the set top box and got Foxtel Now. If I was by myself I’d get Kayo but I prefer their offering overall because I’m also a huge BEIN whore. Bundesliga is the best “football” comp in the world as far as casual viewing goes so I need that...

Each to there own , I ditched Foxtel and watch live NRL streaming on my iPad it costs me nothing because I’m a telsta customer it works fo me.

Yeah I know but I also have kids so I get kids pack and movies as well on Now. That through chrome cast is still way better than the box and you can cancel or switch packages any time.

I haven’t had fox since I left the territory in September. I am Telstra (all that worked up there) for phone and imternet. My issue with the NRL app is if I can’t watch the game live they post the scores all over the site once you click on it. Having said that the games I recorded on fox last year I generally fastforwarded through ninety percent of it waiting for the teams eventual capitulation.
