Finals [Week 3, 2017]

We should be there tonight....just saying :mm:
Reckon a lot more seats would be filled too.

Cows have the momentum with their never-say-die attitude (and good on them) but my head says the Rorters.

Greenturd seen in the referee's rooms at half time................seems he's not too happy!

Sutton got the message.....how did he sent that up as a TRY?

I have to say....Manly fans cop so much crap over attendances, but this is an actual Chooks home game at their usual home venue and its a Grand Final qualifier no less. You'd think that the crowd would be bigger than this regardless that they are playing the Cowboys.

To have one end and the top tier of the outer virtually empty......where are the Chooks fans? I'm not saying they should have got a capacity 45,500 crowd, but anything less than 35-40,000 would be a failure IMO given the importance of the game.

If this was Manly with that crowd we'd cop the usual "Manly fans don't travel" rhetoric.

Watching the game it just makes me more worried who will be our consistent goal kicker for next year?

Sadly can't see either of these beating the scum next week.

The Drizzle were definitely there for the taking in the first half last night, but Brisbane had nothing to challenge with. Bennett gambled on his illegitimate son being over his hammy and lost.

I can't really see the Chooks doing anything, but I think the Cows might be able to if they can get up for another game. Their attack seems to be more playing what's in front of them rather than a plate full of set plays and that ad-lib might trouble Melbourne.

Attendance is 28,908 according to Warren. As said, if that was Manly we'd have been crucified. The attendance is 87 more than last night in Melbourne.

I'll admit, I was one of the many who thought....no Thurston? No Cowboys.

The egg is on my face right now. This is a tough football team.
