I dont get all the barrett hate. He wasnt the greatest coach it seems and he could have handled himself better .some of the culture with the willie peters thingy, gladstone and hastings were signs of a rookie coach that you tend to get when you hire a rookie coach

Manly as a club for us supporters is one thing

Manly as a business for employees is another. The way Des left, the players scattered, toovey, 153 CEO's , Barrett, all cleared the building would auggest the manly sea eagles is a **** place to push your career. They would cop a hammering on glassdoor id suggest

barretts language after he left suggested he held others responsible and not himself which is kind of lucky for us, because barretts second coming may keep us out of spoon range

Not a great part of our history but love his input now. Would love to get the supporters singing this at a doggies game for the old times

Ive sung it everywhere with groups of fans and to the best of my knowledge, have never been approached by someone armed with blueprints, tape measure or scale rule , to discuss the brookvale irony, let alone to request pictures of my giant amazon proportioned shed.

Its just some fun and the words are easy . Pretty sure Billy Joel wrote the lyrics.
