I have a feeling Carney will end up at the Roosters. Politis and him have some sort of love fest going. It could explain the stalling on Maloney's contract.

Also, I played in a pro-am on the weekend and the pro I played with on one of those days was from Goulburn. He said Carney is absolutely hating it in France. It sounds as if he'll definitely be back sooner rather than later. Where he ends up is anyone's guess. The pro mentioned that the Raiders were a strong possibility.

Well no one will be signed until after round 13 as you can bet they have a faint hoping of keeping at least one of the mercenaries.

And no one will sign whilst the coaching situation is a fiasco, so that's either next week, next month, 3 months or end of the year depending on who you believe.

And lastly no one will sign unless it's for significant overs as we are the absolute laughing stock of the game at present. We used to laugh at the Sharks, well guess what, they beat the Premiers last night and have a stack more points than we do.

So guess what , after the other 15 sides have spent their cap, we will probably get the dregs.
