Egrets, I've had a few...(musings and some pics)

^ Really? I've posted so many bear pics that one a couple of metres from me isn't interesting now?

tough crowd.

If no one comes from the future to stop you from doing it........

then how bad can it be??

I think your bear shots in Canada might have become less interesting since the reported sightings of bears in Western Australia. But I still like them 😂

Well that a relief. I guess I can go swimming then if there's no crocs!!!

You know you're getting older when:

'Old' people used to avoid eye contact and move away when you went for a walk - know they smile and say hello to you.

When I ride the chairlift and people ask me what I do for a living, they used to look surprised when I said I was retired, but now they nod knowingly and asked me what I 'used to do'.

My medicine cabinet is still full of painkillers, but now it's for entirely different reasons!

Just a photo from my current trip ( no not fish , that’s been a disaster ) but just the bride & I at the southern most point of WA, Cape Leeuwin.

PS: blowing a gale , and ****ing freezing ( well for us Queenslanders ).

Fishing is another story.

You really needed to do a charter in the north , and most were $600 plus for half a day , $1000 plus for a full day ( no thanks ).

We tried beach fishing half way down ( at a few places ) but just couldn’t get the bait out far enough ( the Drone fishermen were having a ball ) , and the weather down here in the south has been pretty crappy.

So , no fishing success stories ( Mrs MFB is happy the rods are packed away ).

noot noot!

Australian yachtsmen became the first none-US team to win the America's Cup on September 26, 1983.
