This is a complete joke. Just a few weeks ago when we played the cowboys they forced a drop out with 20 seconds to go - for them the clock was stopped which gave them enough time to try get a field goal. Why TF for us does the clock keep ticking?? We would have had a full set to try score instead we get 15 seconds. Inconsistency yet again… we didn’t deserve that win from the first 20 mins but f**k me what a joke that is along with Jennings not getting 10 in the bin

For reference against cowboys the ball went dead with 20 seconds left - the ref stopped the clock with 16 seconds left so we couldn’t run the time out. Can someone explain why roosters were allowed to run the clock out but we couldn’t? Roosters knocked the ball dead with 56 seconds left then get to waste the clock to around 20 seconds… Isn’t the rule to stop the clock in the last 5 mins of games when it’s dead? What’s the difference between the 2 scenarios that allows this?

This is the modern game nothing makes sense and it differs From week to week
Unfortunately this is correct. From lengthy observation it can only be concluded that the IQ of the game's officials is in the "borderline" category.
Players, however, must be in a higher IQ category because they constantly outwit the officials with behaviour that wouldn't fool a five year old, such as grabbing their neck to feign injury or falling over if a defender should brush their leg after they kick the ball.
Can you imagine being one of these officials who is constantly fooled by childishly exaggerated behaviour? Do they actually think they are doing a good job? Do they actually think the general rugby league public think they are doing a good job?
Anyway, here we are with the same imbeciles ruining game after game, week after week, and all we can do is sit here and laugh. Or cry.

I couldn't believe that either.

But I was hoping dce would mention this to the ref, like Cameron Smith would.

"apologies" from Annesley - if it is even brought up.

I thought they have an official time keeper - they could've mentioned it to the ref.
