Tangible yes
Likely no
The planets are now aligned.
In front of a pact crowd the Storm will be heavily motivated to put the Walker less Chooks to the sword. Then up against a rejuvenated Souths side with lots of troops back in, notably Mitchell.
Dolphins have the Titans...probably a win.
Then Raiders, Ricky wants the minor P, Dolphins will put in, but once the blowtorch is applied they'll crumble.

Guess just based on the overall season , Manly just a bit more deserving then the Dolphins to be in the 8
Unless Manly "s form can get even a bit better then last Saturday for the two remaining games , really don 't deserve to get there ahead of the Roosters however
Defence would have to pick up quite a few notches as well
But , if Manly prevail well against the Dragons and the Wahs and the Roosters go down in their last 2 games with average from , would change the dynamics of Manly with more entitlement
Still a very big out with the big O on an edge so would take something pretty unprecedented and unexpected for the side to again progress too far in the finals , even if the Roosters and Phins continue to falter with their respective runs for a top 8 billing and don't make it

I agree.
I also agree with @Mark from Brisbane and think it won't happen!
Tomorrow night we may be put out of our misery.
If not... we might build momentum and end up winning the comp! (probly not)

As the great Clint Eastwood said in Unforgiven, “deserves got nothing to do with it”.

I wouldn't mind a William Munny style coach but Bennett has already got that persona going. A Little Bill style mentor wouldn't be too bad either I suppose. Certainly we'd win more than we lost. Right now we have the writer W.W.Beauchamp in charge and that's no good for anyone except the writer himself.

You mean this style of coach, my friend Bill Mumy:

We suck against Saints..only positive is this isn't in the Gong. First time we've played them at Kogarah for many a while. So for that reason I give us a 43% chance of success.

Very similar sides on paper.

Except In 2025 give the advantage to their halves.

Turtles played twice since the announcement.

Melbourne he might have had to show something before using a pen that week at Bondi.

Last week was his big day.

Would seem the Turtle dosent get out of bed for any old game since you know when.

This week. Not sure he'd have a reason to play. Nope back to Situation AWOL during the game, might even be saving himself for a grand finale in the final round perhaps.

Very true but Dragons fans say Kogarah brings out the best of the Goons.

Dragons 32 vs Manly 20.

Whoever scores first will lose.

Probably could denote from another Clint Eastwood film , The Good , Bad and the Ugly to sum up Manly 's 2025 season also
Speaking of Clint , would have to be one of the most versatile and well performed actors in Hollywood "s history , Westerns , crime , comedy , sport , jail breaks , and more themes ,
Even that role in the Mule movie in more recent times , did good.
Probably would even do well as a Manly coach in another realm

I expect we’ll lose this one but when there’s no pressure on , they’ll throw caution to the wind in the last home game and beat a much better team.

It’s been the case all year so there’s no way there’s going to be a change.

Dragons 28 Manly 12

Hardly expect Manly to overpower the Dragons in the forwards , have to get a bit of traction there but need that more contract - open style footy in attack again to give them the best chance and at least holding their own defensively
Have to somehow invoke that spirit from that mid season game at Brookie last season when Manly easily accounted for them with virtually no subs for a good part of the game and showed some real grit
Hard to say what version of D C E he will be offering , maybe with a bit more clarity on his Rooster"s deal , can just focus on playing his last few remaining games in Manly colors to the best of his ability
Would certainly retain a bit more outgoing respect if it can hopefully be the case

This is it folks, season dangling on a thread. Tonight's result could wipe us out. Either way it will have a big bearing on how Manly plays tomorrow (and who makes the team).
And if by some fluke we're still afloat by around 7pm tomorrow, then things will look a lot less grim!

An all time great, both acting and directing. As a possible rugby league coach, I’d say he is closer to a Wayne Bennett than an Anthony Seibold.
