Differential penalty???

Why is this still a rule with penalties from scrums? It is completely irrelevant to today's game. Storm exploited this rule atleast twice knowing we are unable to go for 2. A penalty is a penalty regardless if its from a scrum or not. Get rid of this rule!

It’s crazy that a 50/50 call from the ref on a player being held too long or hands in the ruck etc.... is not a differential but the scrum ones are blatant penalties that are black and white but they can’t decide points.
Reverse the rules I say.

Especially if it's only 20 metres out, absolutely no advantage
