That was one of the worst decisions I've seen. Not that it even deserved a penalty but that would have been more than sufficient. That was a game where a referee decision has influenced the outcome of a game. Screwed by Sutton incompetence again!

Gagai was deliberately obstructing Jake which he is entitled to do. BUT, he was not even really involved in the play, so Jake giving him a nudge in no way affected the play. A referee sin binning a player for that should never set foot on a rugby league field ever again.

The Jake sin bin makes no sense. The guy with the ball was never going to pass to the player Jake "touched", he only had eyes outside, Jake was literally trying to make a tackle it had no impact on the play whatsoever.

Des is a Legend- he felt for his troops who busted their guts all night, only to have the game decided by the officials, not the opposition.
Manly even without Tom T and co....were growing momentum and could well have beaten Canberra to make the GF.
I think this is why Des is so rightly blowing up....his players were a deserved chance to compete for the prize and he feels for their gutsy display against the odds.
