This goes to show what happens when head up the ass egos (HUTAE) get together in a collective and start making lists based upon their individual biases and subjective assessments. Generally HUTAE commence by labelling their collective something like “The Brains Trust” and then go obliviously into full destructive mode.
An anecdote to put this into perspective. I recall, still with some amazement, at my last position before I retired, that such a brains trust actually had the genius idea of making a list with 2 columns, 1) “Flight Risk” and 2) “Non Flight Risk”. Of course what side you ended up on did not necessarily correlate with reality, it was just a brains trusts members opinion on whether you were likely to hang around. Genius right? Great way to sort things and move forward isn’t it? Astonishing brilliant?
So what happened next? Well the people on the “Flight Risk” side of the ledger started to be treated like sh#@e, because they were going to leave anyway! Well guess one can see that making sense, though with questionable morality, it was a business after all!
And then what? Well the people on the “Non Flight Risk” side of the ledger also started to be treated like sh#@e, because they weren’t going anywhere!!!
Needless to say very few wished to be there, morale was crap and most left.
So I do fear this is exactly what has happened to our beloved Sea Eagles, a bunch of HUTAEs got into control a couple of years ago and started making lists……….the rest is history and it don't look like changing any time soon.....
