MANLY chief executive Grant Mayer has offered a $100,000 spotter's fee for anyone who can introduce a $1 million sponsorship deal to the Sea Eagles.
With multi-millionaire co-owner Max Delmege withdrawing as major sponsor of the club next season, Manly have been forced to re-enter the corporate marketplace for 2009.
Forward-thinking Mayer has tossed up a $100,000 carrot for anyone who can deliver the Sea Eagles a $1 million deal.
"I've told everyone in our organisation from the secretary to the coach, there's $100,000 on the table if you can find us a new $1 million deal,'' Mayer said.
"We're also extending that offer to the general public.
"We feel the Manly brand is a strong and proud name in the sporting marketplace and we're open to offers.''
The Sea Eagles enjoyed the weekend off playing duties after advancing to the grand final qualifier.
