I believe part of the extension conditions related to making finals this year and what payout he’s owed if pushed end of ‘25.Which probably explains why Seibold’s attitude at press conferences have changed tone in recent weeks to correlate with Manly’s decreasing chances of playing finals

I think Jazz has been pretty good this year.

And I’d suggest that he was possibly a last resort as far as experienced players who were prepared to come at all.

He did have an ordinary game last week but up to then I think he’s been pretty good.

I don't doubt he's been good but where is the plan to build a team when clearly he's looked to move on or we've told him to move on. It's just a continual series of short term bandaide decisions instead of long term squad building. Been happening since the 2006-2015 squad dismantled.

Try using your brain.Where have I said that there’s nothing wrong with the players and coach.In fact,I’ve stated on several occasions for a few months now,that the players are off Seibold and he’s out the door come seasons end.
I was pointing out you taking pot shots at TomT,who is having a poor season by his very lofty standards,yet I guarantee you were doing cartwheels when he was dominating the competition not so long ago

Turbo didn’t have the best of games, his brilliant attacking ability has always over shadowed his defensive abilities, hopefully Turbo can dedicate this upcoming offseason into getting some speed and confidence back into his running game, he looks to be bracing himself before contact where not long ago he would accelerate into contact.

Hopefully the Aussie selectors do the best thing in letting him work on those key areas rather then going on a Kangaroo tour.

I think one of the reasons we have been making short term bandaid solutions, and we have for sure, is that until we get past the chasers overs contract, Turbo and Jurbo's overs contracts, and finish the Schuster debacle payouts, is that the $$$ haven't been available to really do anything else .... all of those will be soon ending so that won't be a reason or excuse any more, so lets see how the club approaches the future.

But what would I know ? this week I've gone from leading the tipping point by 1 point to coming second by 1 point to @JEF

The issue we have ( as in you and I) is our days to see success again are limited.

If I’m lucky I might have a decade , maybe a bit more ( based on average life expectancy) , but I’m starting to think the 2013 GF I attended was the last one I’ll in fact attend.

I really feel that success these days is tied to the big dollar spending and it’s why we have the top 4 or 5 teams almost always up the top.

I know that doesn’t guarantee premierships ( Broncos the perfect example ) but it guarantees that if you target the right players , and the right coach ( which you can do with unlimited funds) then you’ll be in there with a shot.

Currently I think we are destined to finish 6th to 12th each year , not a complete basket case but really just making up the numbers.

We have for the last 12 years , and honestly I can’t see anything different for the next 12.

That’s more depressing even than our current malaise, the lack of any future.

If we go down the promising youngsters path ( I believe our only course of action ) we might get lucky , unearth a couple of superstars , and have them on contract before they get poached , and we might jag a top 4 finish one year.

But as to winning the big one 😢😢😢😢😢

Blame the daughter @nightster . I did say that was nice that she highlighted it, BUT, everyone that leads the tipping comp wants to remain under the radar. Her hearts in the right place though (although if you were sitting on the lounge with us yesterday afternoon, your ears would be bleeding. I have been known to drop the odd swear word in the past, but it was the specific bodily injuries she wanted to administer. Saab was an lol one. Not that I condone that sort of thing.

It was tough viewing , I turned off with 20 to go and went for my afternoon walk.

It was clear that about 80% of the team couldn’t actually give a ****

The only thing she wants is the recognition of beating me in the footy comp ( I tried the ‘ol, I’m not really any good, but she wasn’t buying that. But I’m really not!). And I can’t be seen as throwing it either. It’s all good fun….mostly 😱!
