DCE and Foran. Is it working?

We are definitely not swapping out Foran ,he is one of our better players at the moment.
And better off keeping Schuster on Forans edge for 80 mins and linking back up with Turbo.
And in all honesty ,Foran was never bought here for hooking duties.

Schuster straight swap with Foran when he's fit.

Foran isn't even bad or past it, the Shoe is just ready and we're a better team for him being in it.

Edit: or Foran goes to 9 like he was 'originally' picked up for. He's a goer but he doesn't win a game - Shoe doesn't lose them either.

I would argue that Foran was a big reason why we won. In the first half, both Manly tries were created down his side.

In the second half, he was putting the Berries under a lot of pressure with his slashing runs and his passing. DCE’s best run came (ironically) when he was on Foran’s side of the field, before he slipped over when Manly might have scored.

Foran is working,better vision with the ball than dce & runs the line in attack.Dce to much sideways & doesn’t run the ball enough.

At the moment we have a lot of issues that need fixing ,defence firstly,then attack we need to go more through the middle ,on the Doggies line we attacking side to side not direct enough, have to stop relying on hitting Turbo out the back plays,Chez and Foz play well together just have to fix a few other things up

Both had good games but in different ways, Foran was all class yesterday, every time he touched the ball I felt something was going to happen. The cut out pass to Garrick in traffic was masterly, he's really but all the doubters about him to bed. With DCE, cometh the hour cometh the man, once again, his kicking game apart from one massive attempt to find touch was spot on. Then with the game on the line with 4min to go, DCE pots another cool as you like field goal. Then from the Doggies kick off, second tackle kick down town from DCE, no doubt thinking if we make a mistake in our 20 or 40m zone it opens up a possible Bulldogs win. Better to attack with your defence in this case.

I thought this season, even in trials you could see it coming. he is better suited to the game manager role but as others have stated needed to find himself in the team , pecking order again etc

Schuster with ball in hand makes the defenders hesitate and that split second should open up some gaps for other players or the grubber kick through .Can only hope he plays a lot of the first receiver role when he's back .
