That’s correct …to make sure he ,in this case Fifita , or any other player , would backflip if they have any doubts about meeting KPI s …like any employer better to know from the start if someone does not want to work hard.As a club you want the player to backflip if they have doubts before they get there because it destabilises the whole joint when a new player who joins the club on big bucks and is not putting in That’s why nick pulled the contract the day after Fifita rang him to say he was having doubts. They are happy with result and comfortable they dodged a bullet.
This is contrary to everything published or commentated on..
Seriously your in dreamland..
KPIs.. yes.. but these are footballing contracts .. the KPIs are in line with physical requirements the club expects..
Ie.. body fat ratios, training goal performance based, and beep test results, turning up to training and club functions.. all of which are not actually grounds to sack a player but give them warnings.
No player has lost a contract from these KPIs.
other KPIs are bonus payment based like playing origin, playing "x" amount of NRL games etc..again nothing to have a contract cancelled or a player to backflip..
There are certainly no KPIs relating to on field performance.. total BS
The players union would have a "canary" if a club had on field performance as a KPI and further if it meant a players contract could be cancelled and then terminated.
Total BS
@Jimmie.. your a Roosters stooge.. or totally brain dead biased pro Roosters fan boy.
Please enough with the crap..
Fafita backflipped no Nick Politis KPIs at all.. so you really think people are that stupid..
Why do you think there a players union?.. certainly not to allow clubs to put on field KPIs in a contract that can then trigger termination.
And as I said all the other KPIs are training and official club attendance and they are not issues that could terminate a contract.
We are talking NRL athletes not a back yard wrestling troupe
