watching the 2007 prelim final and watching one of his finds Michael Bani and it reminded me of some of the talent he brought to manly. Not all of them were superstars but I guess that’s the nature of that role you win some and you lose some.

I have to say I’m a little excited to see what young talent we see at manly over the next 3-4 seasons with crusher back heading up the recruitment.

How good would a couple of outside backs and ball playing back rowers be.

With the amount of players we have off contract, Crusher will have reams of cap space and rosters spots available next season.

There's good reason why the Crusher will always be a success in the recruiting....
Some of the best Natural footy players are from the bush and the Crush has spotters on every corner....
I am 100% that over the next 1-5 years we will have some absolute quality and a mass advantage in plucking the very best country talent on offer.

Problem for cleal these days is the power of the internet and the ability of recruitment managers to browse players from any area at any time.

Gone are the days when a gem could be found that no-one else has seen. All the best players are snapped up so young now. They all have an Insta account with an online presence.

The jet blasts off from inside his 30 and he has Addo Carr and the rest of the storm players giving chase to no avail .
Now Addo Carr is known to run down players but the Jet is no ordinary player . The Jet is a flyer .
Have speed and you will fly like a Sea eagle . Sea eagles were meant to fly !

Manly hire returning recruitment guru Noel 'Crusher' Cleal to join Des Hasler

Cleal followed Hasler to Canterbury in 2011 and has been largely credited for unearthing Daly Cherry-Evans, Jamie Lyon, Steve Matai, Kieran Foran, Luke Burt, Andrew Ryan, Damien Cook, Matt Ballin and David Williams.
