I haven’t seen any coverage of the Cowboys try by McLean that was clearly grounded short of the line today and how it effected the outcome of the game. Is it because Des didn’t cry at the presser unlike Barrett

Great to have Kelpie back...he is gold. Slippers is only injury cover now if Des persists with Walker on the bench....which I don't agree with.
I liked what Sipley did when he was on at the start, all quality very solid, good runs, made some telling cover tackles unlucky not to score also, Des would of noted this. Keppie went well also, coming back after having an extended break. Good problems for Des to work out I guess.

Not many camera angles on it, but the one everyone saw, is green space between the grounded Ball and the try line.

I wouldn't say it was clear cut, yes he looked slightly short of the line but the ball only needs to move a bit and it's a try.
No decent camera angles so they have to go with the refs call.

I will say though that Keppie would've most likely stopped him if the grass didn't give way under his feet.

Got a feeling Mclean might of promoted the ball a bit, but the front on vision was blocked by one of our players. So refs call it is.
