Cust can change so much regarding our weakness out wide.at the moment.

I like it. I know Tafua cannot catch, but at least he does those tough carries like a forward and makes more metres than Jetski and Waddell combined. Parker, Garrick and Elliot run into a brick wall it seems, and those back 3 really help the go forward - look a Parra and Melbourne for example.

The much maligned Elliott did well tonight. Hate seeing him and Garrick taking the first 2 hit ups out of end though.

Most teams do it these days. Jorge does well at it, look at Parra big fast wingers like forwards.

I reckon young Hoppa will be one answer. Very strong leg drive. Will be like a young Jorge Tafua. When Jorge started he was a recking ball, and fast!

Jetski was the real worry and Dez is persisting with him. Weak, and lazy. Awful defence and gets smashed when he runs the ball.

Take it easy Waz that's just my opinion. And believe it or not i do know fullback is more than just about scoring flashy tries mate. There is a reason why he's not a fulltime fb and i also understand it's the best of what we've got while Turbo's out. But we have young guns waiting in the wind and if Des doesn't at least give them a sniff, other teams ala Bulldogs with Hoppa will start circling.

Not really sure why Brad Parker is copping so much for his runs, 13 runs for 104m and doesn’t go backwards in the contact

Sure the outsides are getting smashed a bit, but when you are bringing it out from being hemmed in your own corner and they are rushing up for early contact, the end result is usually not getting very far unless a penalty is involved

The way things stand right now, when Walks returns I'd be tempted to push Suli to the wing, play Walks in the centres ... and drop Jorge.

Cust is so far doing enough to keep his spot.

Great win, all things considered, including long day travelling!

Elliot doing an admirable job at FB. Doesn't set the world on fire but at least he's safe. Thought Jetski grounded ball for try and glad we didn't lose game as a result. Cust coming along well and getting better every week.

As for the fox commentary - disgraceful! Ginnane and his "come on Cowboys", no half time or any Manly reports and apparently only the Cowboys were on the field

We can't afford to carry a plodder like Jetski. He needs a spell. I'd be happy with anyone but.

Garrick is getting rag dolled nearly every hitup. Can't afford that and his goal kicking is average.

Next year Saab to wing, walker to centre, Parker to cup and Cust in 5/8 it's a much more dynamic line up.

I like Parker and he has been amongst our best but he is not better than suli or walker in centre
