Jeez, that's a small dressing shed .....

I imagine when the CoE opens that could double as our dressing rooms, with the visitors getting Manly’s old rooms. Or maybe both 1st grade sides will have dressing rooms in the new building.

I watched a Channel 7 news segment of the Cowboys/Sea Eagles highlights this morning and they showed a Cowboys try and a non Cowboys try replayed three times. That was it!! No Manly anything. If the volume was off I would have thought the Cowboys had won. Truly bizarre...

This year the Sea Eagles haven't really got their attack mojo working. Thus, it is difficult to be confident from week to week. There is no guarantee we will be beat any side (even those lowly ranked), yet we are very capable of beating the top sides. Already, we have beaten both 2019 grand finalists, plus the competition front runner (twice - if not for a touchie's bad call).

In the scheme of things, it was a good win last night as intensity was somewhat even over the eighty minutes. However, our attack was pedestrian - too many ineffectual hit ups and insufficient ball promotion. In the past, a sign that our attack is flowing is when DCE is backing up to score tries under the posts, so hopefully, we are on the right track ...

I think the mood of Silvertails may have been more buoyant at this time last year as we were travelling well following the 2018 debacle. This year we had high expectations to build on 2019, but being without our star hooker from the start & then the re-injury of Turbo has put a dampener on things. Despite this, we have won exactly the same amount of the games as last year - six from eleven!

During the first 11 rounds of 2019, Turbo was out for 8 games, Dylan for 9 games & DCE for 4 games. We had some very good wins during that period when we were undermanned. This is what we need to do again - keep winning games and build momentum (Cust & Levi playing well a key) in the lead up to the Turbo-charge

McGuire was hit with a grade one charge of making dangerous contact to the head or neck of Sea Eagles five-eighth Cade Cust, and with two recent offences and 25 carry-over points to his name is set to be suspended whether he enters an early guilty plea or is found guilty at the judiciary.

Cowboys winger Kyle Feldt is facing a fine over a contrary conduct charge over a 12th-minute incident involving Cust, while Mitchell Dunn is facing a fine for tripping.

Usually trips get more media attention as well. Usually some ex players who are getting their last year contracts boosted with some cushy fox or 9 job goes on about how bad trips are.

I said last night our attack had all the fluidity of someone riding a bike with a buckled wheel.

And then I thought.....there's your Turbo effect.

The guy just smooths everything out and creates so much. When he comes back...look out.

Next year Saab to wing, walker to centre, Parker to cup and Cust in 5/8 it's a much more dynamic line up.

I like Parker and he has been amongst our best but he is not better than suli or walker in centre
