Coach Seibold thoughts so far.... so good

Who could be our next coach? There are options. But honestly, who’d want to coach Manly right now? It’s a dead-end, no vision, no culture, leadership lost the plot.

Maybe it’s time to give someone new a shot, anyone with passion and smarts. Seibold’s not working, and hanging on won’t fix it. We need fresh energy, someone who understands pathways, people, and defence.

Manly has to stop recycling coaches or being a stepping stone. We deserve a leader who actually wants to build something real and who’s not a yes man. We need someone who can stand up to the board, challenge the status quo, and make the tough calls for the good of the club.

If we can’t get rid of the owner immediately, then at least get a coach players want to play for one who cares, has a plan, is fair, and knows their footy, especially when it gets tough.

Seriously awesome stuff mate
I live breathe and love Manly
I’m hurting today after that loss but gotta say those stats brought back some great memories.

IMO Seibold is an okay coach, and did a lot of good in revamping the general operation to a more modern standard in a short period of time... But at the present time, he's not the man to lead us to a premiership.

It comes with an important caveat. Sacking him and getting a different coach is no guarantee of improvement, especially given Penn's track record. Unfortunately Penn's record probably means we will get ****ing Willie Peters, who the media is drumming up. I'd prefer BA.

Another matter is the leadership group... The only change since Seibold arrived is the addition of Haumole. I imagine they are much more involved, and have more say, than what many on here think. They are so unbelievably inconsistent, and never seem to be able to pull us out of our ****. Leaders make or break a team, and that story of them, is the story of our team.

Seibold's greatest test is what lies ahead. Good coaching is now needed to get us into the 8. There isn't anything holding him back now IMO. If he doesn't make the 8, he goes, and it's justified. If he does make the 8, some good coaching MUST'VE been involved, and keeping his job is also justified.

I'm not saying there aren't other factors, but this is the litmus test for a good coach. He may still have the structural problems outside of his control, that keep us from premiership glory, but he has more than enough to make the 8.

I doubt there’s one single pro Seibold member on here , but what there is , is a group that attributes bad games to the complete set up of, the football department ( wrong choices , wrong plans ) & the players not performing as they should.

Whereas the ASC / ASS attribute EVERYTHING to the coach.

That’s the point that I argue on , and will continue to do so.

Because I know , should the current coach get the arse , that it won’t be long until the new coach ( whoever they be) will have their own sacking acronyms as well because our issues are far wider that just attributing everything to the coach.

Yep much deeper issues than our coach try our owners to start.

We are in a deeper mess than people realise will take a number of years to sort out !!!

Moving on the coach won't fix this

We’ve been a middle of the table team since Tooves was shafted.

Barrett, Hasler & Seibold haven’t been able to change that.

We’ve been consistently inconsistent since 2015.

The blame cannot be laid solely at the feet of any individual, there are many working parts to the puzzle.
