Coach Seibold thoughts so far.... so good

Interesting, not much discussion on Spoony and his man management mgt skills, or lack of?

You think this schiit storm would have occurred publicly if Bellamy, Robinson, Cleary or Wayne were the coach.

@outofmydepth

Interesting you were so quick to bump this thread after our loss to the Wahs but avoided it like the plague after we beat Canberra.

@BOZO got me thinking about Seibold with his overwhelming appraisal of Ciraldo.

Since taking the helm as head coach of the Manly Sea Eagles in 2023, Seibold has brought a revitalised coaching approach that emphasises both tactical innovation and player development.

Seibold has implemented a dynamic style of play, his focus on creating a well-rounded team structure is leading to a cohesive unit on the field, encouraging players to express their individual skills while adhering to a unified game plan.

This tactical shift has not only improved the team's competitiveness but has promoted a culture of accountability and continuous improvement among players.

In the realm of recruiting, Seibold's vision has translated into strategic acquisitions that align with the club's needs and future ambitions.

He has been instrumental in identifying and recruiting talents that fit the team’s ethos, bringing in both seasoned veterans and promising young players.

This approach has not only deepened the squad's talent pool but has also provided valuable mentorship opportunities for younger players, been impressive in his second season with the recruitment of the Large brothers, Walsh and Willett.

By focusing on players with strong character and a commitment to development, Seibold has enhanced the overall culture within the club, ensuring that new recruits integrate smoothly and contribute to the team's long-term goals.

Seibold's ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with players has proven instrumental in boosting morale and engagement within the team.

Listening to current players speak of him and particularly Bully, he emphasis on open dialogue and feedback which has created an atmosphere where players feel valued and understood, encouraging them to buy into the collective vision of the club.

Seibold's impact since joining the club has been marked by a focus on tactical evolution, strategic recruitment, and fostering a positive team environment, positioning the club for both immediate success and sustainable growth in the future.

Pure slop, ignore is my opinion.
I think we’ve finally reached the point in this DCE saga where we’re filling up the shampoo bottle with water to get the very last bit of it out.One line I found “interesting” was where Crawley quoted Johns saying DCE could command $1.5m.This is the same Johns who only last week suggested Jamie Humphreys would be worth $900K on the open market.

Do you get AI to draft your posts? (not that there's anything wrong with that, lol)

Whilst it's difficult to argue with these words specifically, this post reads more like a PR-written LinkedIn profile with a nice ring to it, but little substance. Very Seibold-esque.

The reality is that results are truly all that matters, and despite some fleeting promising signs, Seibold still has plenty to prove.

He gets a pass at this stage, earned himself an extension, and rightly so. However, "weapons" aside, he must transform this talented roster into a tough, resilient, and uncompromising defensive unit. The rest is just mumbo jumbo

Almost AI, it is from a software tool we had built, it’s a comparative tool that will give you the differences on Engineering standards, a side version of it will scan your recent web searches and depending what you ask it will give you a summary from it.

You may or may not be surprised at the amount of legalities that there are in that Automated tooling space.

Universities are struggling with AI and their scrubber tools on some papers need constant change due to how many tools that keep getting developed, the educated eye can spot the difference, well done.

So even our beloved forum, where we used to read opinions of actual people, is now being infected with AI rubbish.

If you've got something to say, just damn well say it, in your own words.

I'm not interesting in knocking Seibs but it does look like Ciraldo has taken a more successful approach to the game, given the current interpretation of the rules. I am certain we have more natural talent in our ranks than the Dogs, but they're on a higher trajectory than us, IMO. Their win last night was superb and came without two of their three best players, not to mention the importance of Burton's kicking game in how they play. Ciro's team are fit, hungry, lean, and mobile. They are winning games with their defence. Outside of Melbourne, Cronulla have arguably the most lethal attack in the NRL; creative halves, fast and strong outside backs, line running edge forwards, and a steady mix of mobile and big forwards. To keep them to 6 on their home turf is no mean feat.

If we could defend with the same energy and enthusiasm as the Dogs, we'd be unstoppable with our attack. Besides the Dogs line speed and kick chase, I've noticed they don't stop competing or die on any play. For example, last night, the ball was kicked to Tracey, he collected it and made a voluntary tackle. Most players across the NRL, lie on Tracey, then get up and let him play the ball. At Canterbury, they grab Tracey by the jersey and drag him 3-4 metres towards the in-goal. It might not seem overly necessary but those little extra efforts add up across 80 minutes and frustrate the life out of the opposition. The NRL is all about effort first, and Canterbury are showing the way.
