The former most likely. That and juggling players between different comps . A lot of guys going up and down between NSW Cup, Flegg etc.

Seems the backline players (most are in top 30) are more highly rated than the forwards. They all need game time. However, maybe this particular team would be more balanced if Weeks was selected at five eighth with another player (e.g. Koula, Funa) as fullback.

Thanks @The Wheel and to Manly for these interesting interviews, especially at the moment when we're in lockdown and feeling 'disconnected' from the world. I know they're probably complying with an NRL mandate but its still good of the players to answer the questions whilst having to wear the awkward-looking masks. I recall saying in another thread from 2019 after the game against Canberra wheN DCE hurt his ankle that I witnessed them all in the sheds and out for dinner and a drink or 11 after the win
It was obvious then that all they wanted to do was to play for manly
Will never forget the other Robbo bro leaning on the bar with Ruben talking wing talk and the ginger ninja and Jake and Gifty shooting pool and singing out loud while the beaver and snake just enjoyed being together

We are in good hands with good people and despite 2020 dooms dayers these guys will help us to a premiership

Sip Kep& shue could be anything and will be talked about for a long time
