This same squad looked capable of being premiers last year until Tom got injured. Sure, we have had bad luck with injuries again, but this team is not putting in. Big problems in that squad...
You are spot on - there is something going on within the squad that is not right and I am guessing it is to do with the our top 3 salary earners being publicly revealed, the Hoppa and company issues, plus Foran for Walker rumour causing a big rift within the club. Communication and leadership in the team is non existent in the last month !

have I ever mentioned how sloooow we are and I don't just mean over the ground we are all round sloooow , running, reacting and thinking

Cherry is no statesman. I doubt he is capable or willing to address it at a higher level.
If Foran does come, would he be a better choice as captain?
Would he be welcomed back entirely by the team.
He is a very good on field leader, and he owes us big time for his petulance in 2015.
I wonder if Des sees him as somebody capable of leading the culture group.
Sometimes we learn from our mistakes and are keen to contribute. Whether we are respected enough to get the opportunity is a whole different story.
Interesting times ahead indeed

This is Foran who wanted to sue the club? Stopped playing mid season and just watched the game while on the field and was investigated for throwing games while playing for Manly?
The one who wouldn't go back on for the dogs after half time because his toe hurt?

I don't think at 31 that he is the answer. We are stuck for good and bad with DCE for two more years.

Good points, I am very aware of the full sordid history. It was very painful to go through.
But the romantic in me sees a potential fairytale 🙂
Like I said he owes us plenty, and 2 years of his best on and off the park could really help.
I don’t for one second think it is not without significant risk. But man, KF is a footballers footballer. That’s why we went after him above DCE in the first place.
The answer is a pineapple

I can't entertain the thought of Reuben Garrick playing even 1 more game for this club. He is slow, always out of position, tries to solve defensive problems himself time after time and a low percentage goal kicker.....if you get sacked by saints you know you're no good.
Ummm he wasn’t sacked by the Saints....he asked for a release to joinManly. Saints supporters we’re pissed off he was let go. He is definitely not slow mate! The kid is suffering 2nd year syndrome & will come good.

I'd be interested to know more about this 'culture group'.
Who is in the current 'culture group'?
Well, it's more like a series of rolling events during the week.

On Mondays, Jake leads the forwards in some classic 16th century British Piggyback Racing
Wednesdays is Gypsy Accordion night for the back line.
And on Fridays DCE leads the boys in Ukrainian Cossack dancing... though apparently nobody turns up, including DCE.
