In a word, Yes!!

This Pain has a few more years to run. We bought a halfback for overs. Don’t get me wrong I think he is a good player but not worth the money he is getting. We signed Jake and Tommy for big money and then the rules changed making the game faster.
I think Tom is worth what he is being paid, even though he has injury problems. Jake is now over valued for what he offers.
We have real backline issues and a coach that won’t move with the times. I will be a long season.
I do think Pasternak was good tonight.

Hard to know what to do. I like Parker but he is just too slow for first grade. Garrick has poor positional sense. DCE shouldn't be playing professional RL. We can't even use him at hooker because he can't see where the gaps are or who he should pass to. Jake is being paid a **** load of cash to play a style of RL that just isn't played any more.

On the plus side Dylan looks promising at FB. He can jig and change direction without tearing a hamstring. Cust should be back at hooker in the next couple of weeks.Saab looks good. Davy looks good. If we cut DCE out of the play and let Foz run the attack we may win some games.

Jake is being paid a ****load so we could keep both him and Tom together and not go to the Dragons as a package, Dragons dodged a bullet there

I used to invest a lot emotionally, into watching Manly each week. If they lost I was filthy but over the past couple of years, I’ve just become numb to it. I can sit there and watch them make mistake after mistake now and while it’s frustrating, it’s just the way things are. We’ll be lucky to win more that 5 games this season. Sucks to have to admit that after only round 1.

It's just pathetic to see how low we've sunk as a club.

Jakes value might come if he goes back into the front row and plays as an 80minute prop cutting down blokes all game. Our attack is so predictable.

Andy, think you maybe right. Personally I like DCE know him & his family.- really nice people. BUT 5 errors 5 missed tackles in the first half, hmmmm- from a captain not good enough..

Game highlighted our same old from last year. Clearly Garrick, Parker needs to go. Foran needs to be 9, Schuster 5/8. Walker aint a fullbacks rear end. Seriously put Funa to fullback with 8 to go.....BS

Clearly we don't have a spine. Currently 1, 6, 7, 9 don't work!

Goes back to an earlier post, no heart, no commitment, no working as a team. We play for a contract and we don't care if we win or loose. Friends on that it will be a VERY LONG season.

Cannot believe how far we have regressed from the early rds of last season were we looked like top 4 to what the defence has turned into now. Seems to start in the middle and then outside backs have no clue. Early rounds of last year we conceded least amount of tries out wide and I think a lot had to do with Walker jamming up and cutting opposition attack down. He was actually very good defensively in that position, thommo was pretty solid too. Seemed today Foran and Parker continually got burnt every single time. It was ridiculous how easy Roosters went around us

It's going to be hard to watch the game live next week. Souths will put 13+ on us next week. Unfortunately I done for the season after watching the 1st 2 home games. I'm finally giving A league some time to replace footy.

Hey Damien, didn't rate Souths last night, next week won't have T Burgess. They will still beat us. Seriously we are looking at 4 or 5 losses from 7. Be prepared guys and girls. Other teams have moved on - we are still where we were at last year with 4 weeks to go.
