Travelling retirees are being urged to brush up on their manners as small towns confront a nationwide increase in camping and caravan holidays.
The pastime is experiencing double-digit growth in most states but some townsfolk say "grumpy" seniors can leave them feeling overwhelmed at times.

Australia has all kinds of pests. Cane toads, brumbies... now we can add travelling retirees to the list as well

What he hasnt told you about him being in remote WA is when he left home he was just ducking down to the local shops to get the paper.

See when you get to Marks age you never have to admit your lost and have no idea how to get back home. You just keep on driving, surely you will see something familiar soon. Poor old bugger.

Broome's got a car wash now? When I lived there in the mid 90's, the car wash was called the "Wet Season" and it happened every other day for free; mind you, the car was always a bit dirty during the "Dry Season". Ah well, progress I guess.
