Caleb Navale

So obvious how much energy Navale added instantly....actually would fight to play that ball quickly, whereas these other Manly players "forwards and backs" - especially Garrick, just look at the ref throwing their arms around and looking at the ref, you get a penalty just working hard to play it - not beg for more porridge like Oliver Twist.
If Navale is not picked and doesn't play 50 + minutes, these coaches at Manly are trying to lose footy games.

Come on you guys!
Caleb admitted himself he was gassed after 10 min when he got a run earlier on. Adapting to the pace of NRL game can't be easy, surely? When you're just coming in you probably can't sleep the night before and burn up masses of nervous energy before your even out on the field.
Anyway. He's here now and here to stay, I reckon. I too thought he'd be picked earlier but what do I know!

Played well, done good yesterday.

Hoe he keeps developing, needs to find the balance between post contact metres and finding his front for a quick play the ball. Gets caught in the middle of both a bit at the moment.

I really hope we have some better forwards on the way in, he needs a better pack to learn his trade. Not Toff Sipley and Cory Waddell

Even if that were the case I don't understand why he needed to be dropped and not brought back into the side until 12 weeks later. Wouldn't it have made more sense to keep him in there and gradually increase his minutes over time rather than not giving him another crack until the season was essentially over?

Too little too late from Seibold but as you mention at least he's here now and hopefully to stay. Could easily be our starting 13 going forward based on what we've seen.
