Caleb Navale

oh come on Ryan! Jake is a machine in defence, our Fatty Vautin in the current day, a leader, passion. I agree that his attacking levels have degenerated over the years. Every team needs a tackling machine and we well know Jake delivers on this at a high level.

Burbo, yeah, Im not sold on him being a regular 1st grader yet, people waiting for a breakout year but I dont know if he ever will. He has been pushed from centre to 2nd row in 1st grade to fill gaps and hasnt had the chance to, or perhaps been good enough to cement a spot. He's a fair reserve or someone to come onto the bench to replace a reserve.

And despite the above, Navale has not warranted in any way to replace these 2.

I have no problem with Jake mate. What I'm saying is we need to mix it up. Having a Jamie Buhrer / Gift type in there. That's why possibly have Waddell (yeah, I said Waddell haha) is maybe a good thing.

Joey Johns said today when talking about the teams he thinks we have too many of the same types of forward, which kind of supported my view. He also said the same about ...hmmmm...forget the team tbh ..but yeah.

I really like Caleb after having initial concern. Okay, he missed a tackle, but besides that, last year and this he's been great as far as I can tell.

Interesting Joeys take on similar types of forwards, I thought the recruitment of Jazz was a little strange when Jake, Brown and Navale are of similar physique.

TKO, Lodge and Alioia are similar players.

Then there are two players that intimidate the opposition in Tent and Haumole, they are the two most likely to break the line, Sipley he is a touch off these two with the ball.

Waddell and MCK are depth players, would have liked to have seen more minutes given to Sykes, James, Dunford and Patolo to see what they can offer.

Don't forget bully mate. Can break a line , score a try etc. thought he was amazing starting too.

Yeh he played with real intensity in the trial, I think he is in for a big season if he gets given more minutes.

He looked good starting and those two kick off returns were at full speed, he bent the line in the trial, seen enough that he should get an opportunity to start.

yeah, I agree we need more strike in our pack. I dont think its Caleb this year and its a shame manly didnt try or have the funds to find a lock or 2nd rower that would complement the team by way of providing more strike power.

There is still no reason to bring up something as irrelevant and personal as this, especially in a forum like this. Heated discussions happen and they happen in good will with passion. If I might say, to me the exchange seemed fine, it wasn’t bitchy or ill intended.

Bringing up and using someone’s mental health against them is never okay.

If you have such a problem with his posts, just scroll past them. We’re here cause we are passionate, not to argue like high schoolers 🙂
Happy to scroll past them, in fact, blocked now.

But I must point out that it is that poster who continues to bring up his mental health while often bullying others without any knowledge of their particular fragility. Why is that ok?

There are a great many mental health conditions. Interestingly many of our political leaders 'suffer' from one or more of them. Look up The Dark Triad.

OK. I'm really out now. Fingers crossed for young Caleb.

And Go Manly!
