This will be a blood bath if we put in the same performance as last night

Thought we would make a statement against the dogs leading into last nights game but now I think it could get very ugly if we are not careful.

Dogs by 14

I just can't see us turning it around in 7 days time

Dogs second best defence in the NRL and we let tigers score 34 on us we are up against it next friday

My tip is now we finish 8th and play dogs week 1 again of finals

Good news, Schmole won't be missing any games. Fine only.

Reads like a nrl cash grab.

These players didn't really do anything wrong...but give us 3K for a shoulder to shoulder hit.

ka-ching. Thanks for playing.

I feel like we’ve been in this situation before, this year. We play some ‘lowly’ team, get out to a decent lead, then throw away the game and everything looks dismal. The following week we’re up against a good side (Penrith, Storm, Roosters etc) and we pull out a great performance and surprise everyone - including me. The again, most of those surprise wins were at Brooky but I’m hoping we can pull of a similar thing next weekend because a win would be massive for our finals chances.

Like the Tigers' stitch-up, my main concern playing Canterbury is that it has become the media-darling. The NRL wants Centerbet, sorry, Canterbury, to do well because it has a wide fan base and unlimited funds. The Canterbury Leagues Club is one of Sydney's most successful poverty generators.
So, if we get a match refereed fairly we win but if the script writers want to continue the narrative that wooden spooners can turn their fortunes around in one season then Manly will just be collateral damage. We are the only mugs who care about Manly.
The NRL: give 'em what the punters want

Specially if warriors beat them tonight the nrl won't want them losing 2 in a row

And how about the Bulldogs getting the media onside with them I hate the love fest they are getting

This is must-win if we want a home final and I'd like to think we'd be up for it after last night. Should the Dogs beat the Warriors tonight and the Cowboys beat Melbourne resting all their players next week, we could find ourselves 3 points behind them with another loss going into the last round. Beat the Dogs and we'd have a chance to finish 6th with a win vs Cronulla as Dogs/Cows play eachother in round 27

Every game is a finals game from this point on so there should be no shortage of motivation for us, add the fact we could play a finals game at Brookie as opposed to potentially travelling to Townsville in week 1 so we should really be looking to close out the season 2/2. I know it's a bit doom and gloom after last night but I don't think many teams would have won against the whistle the Tigers were getting, we were poor but we all know what this team is capable of on their day and the next two games are definitely winnable

Delusional to think this bunch will get near of the dogs at the moment. They actually have learned how to defend. We have learn't zero. Conceed 30 points to the wooden spooners and people think we're a chance hahahaha
Wouldn't write us off yet, the way this comps going anything is possible especially with a rampant Turbo in our side.

Manly played terrible but I don’t get why everyone is surprised they put 30 points on when we played almost an entire half of the game 12-13. Any NRL team in the modern game is going to put points on if they get that kind of chance, especially when we’d get penalised every time we tried to slow it down slightly

The dogs play with energy grit and defend with purpose. They give nothing away and never give in. Manly well they like to play pretty and only for short periods. The dogs have a score to settle against manly. This will be a bloodbath. Kind of hoping this prolonged humiliation will lead someone in the club to realise our forwards are soft. Jake god love him is so slow, Ben is neither a back nor a forward, both hookers are painfully bland. We lack punch and defensive effort.

Pointless even showing up next week. The dogs will be allowed to go out there with baseball bats and do whatever they want next week. We'll get penalised out before we even step out of the sheds.

We won't be getting close next week
You can see it a mile off
The dogs will be able to get away with anything as you said
Just look at tonight they should of had 2 in the bin but nothing to see here
Dogs by 24 against us things will get ugly next week
